Happy Hearts Day

As early as 5am Hubby and I went to Dangwa to buy fresh flowers for SOL from TCC. I was able to grab 2 dozens of red roses for only 150.00. I also bought flowers for Mommy El. Since it will be very expensive to have the flowers arranged I made it myself. With plastic and ribbons in my craft box I was able to prepare flowers for my sons teachers, my officemates and my tita’s. Late in the afternoon Hubby surprised me and gave me one long stem of red rose with matching bronze haviannas. So sweet . . . thanks da.
We did not bother to celebrate Valentines by having a romantic dinner. We just go to Greenwich and ordered some pizzas and chix. Yummy !!!

I’m Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Task left undone must stay that way,
I found that place at the close of the day.
If my parting has left void,
Than fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow,
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
You will always be remembered . . . .
Bye for now . . . Kuya Sony

School Fair

January 20, 2007 was a little bit hectic for us. Today is last day of the fair and even promised Migs & Jolo that we will go. Its hard coz’ hubby is not with me, and I need to take care of the two boys alone. I ask the two boys to just wait for Dad if they want to ride caterpillar and ferris wheel. Upon waiting for Dad the boys started enjoying the games and food at the fair. Jolo even tried shooting and viola he hit the plastic duck five times and was given a prize “candy”. After this we need to rush to Cainta for Tropang Bs Reunion. “I believe that parents like me should have fun with their kids no matter how hectic your schedule is. Come to think of it 10 to 15 years from now your sons and daughters might have their own gimmicks and you might regret not enjoying such things when they were still a kid.” QUALITY TIME is the key to have a bonding family.
