Healing Mass

Atty. F invited me last May 12, to attend the healing mass of father Joey Faller at Sta. Mesa Manila. I heard a lot about father Joey and even had a chance to visit last year the famous, if not the most popular place in Quezon “Kamay ni Hesus”, but was not able to attend the healing mass then. So, this was my first time to witness and experience the presence of GOD thru father Joey.

We arrived at the church at 5PM and registered. Right after the 6PM mass father Joey describes the procedure of the healing. “I begin with the Eucharist. Then we go for color-coding: red for cancer, blue for arthritis, white for infertility, and orange for diseases of the ears, eyes, nose and throat. I have a priority for the sick. After the mass I expose the Blessed Sacrament. Then, I pray over groups of people.”

Father Joey started the healing session with those in a wheel chair. I’ve seen a lot of them being asked by father to stand and walk. Amazingly, most of these handicapped persons were able to walk and we were all crying with Joy. When my turn together with Atty. F. I just can’t explain how I feel. It’s a mix emotions. Until the moment, I close my eyes and start praying. Suddenly, father Joey touches my hand and heard him praying and in a blink of time, I was already lying at my back and feel the Holy Spirit.

For those who are interested in attending father Joey Faller's healing masses visit http://www.kamaynihesus.com/

I’m a SLOTH

After the BAGUIO trip last Thursday, I was not able to Blog and even hit back all my on-line friends before the weekend. Before I left, I had three tags to do. I’m done with the first one from Dez and I still have two to go form Liza and Juliana. Upon browsing this morning, I saw a tag from Mari-Dee, Sorry Sis I may overlooked on to your buzz about the tag, will grab and post it in soonest possible time.

Make your choice

Often you are called upon to make decisions both big and small. Sometimes it is not clear which choice will bring the most positive value to your life.

Give care and thoughtful consideration to your decisions. But don't obsess over those decisions so much that you fail to make them.

Though it can at times be impossible to know which choice is best for you, it is usually very easy to know what the worst choice is. Almost always, the worst choice is to avoid making a choice.

Life offers many attractive choices. And yet you cannot choose all of them at once.

Make your choice, and then put your commitment behind it. Even if it doesn't work out as you expected, at the very least you will have gained valuable knowledge and experience for making the next choice.

Each choice leads to other choices, and with every choice you improve your ability to wisely choose. Be consistently decisive, and the choices you make will bring real value into your world.

Padre Pio's Hemin Bread

Monday morning, Joan, my officemate approached me and asked if I knew about Padre Pio’s Hemin bread from the Vatican. Honestly, I have not heard of it yet. She gave me the Hemin bread in a microwavable container with instruction and prayer to recite every day for ten days. And on the tenth day, I must give it to other good people. Here is the entire recipe and complete instructions for making this Hemin bread. I’m pretty sure, this blessed bread will come your way.

REMEMBER: YOU CANNOT REFUSE THE BREAD ONCE IT IS GIVEN TO YOU AND YOU CAN ONLY USE A WOODEN SPOON.

WHAT TO DO?

Once you receive the dough, put it in a large glass bowl. It must be covered with either wax paper or plastic wrap and put it on the table/ counter at room temperature. Do not put in the fridge.

On the FIRST and SECOND DAY: DO NOT TOUCH THE DOUGH. It must adapt and absorb to its surroundings and take in the atmosphere. This is what makes each batch so unique from family to family.

On the THIRD and FOURTH DAY: MIX THE DOUGH WITH A WOODEN SPOON ONCE PER DAY.

On the FIFTH DAY: ADD TO THE DOUGH 1 CUP OF MILK. 2 CUPS OF FLOUR AND 1 CUP OF SUGAR. MIX WELL WITH A WOODEN SPOON.

On the SIXTH TO THE NINTH DAY: MIX DOUGH WITH A WOODEN SPOON ONCE PER DAY. On the TENTH DAY: ADD TO THE DOUGH 1 CUP OF MILK, 2 CUPS OF FLOUR AND 1 CUP OF SUGAR. MIX WELL WITH WOODEN SPOON. When mixed well, separate the dough in four (4) equal portions. You give away three (3) of these portions to three (3) different people.

You keep the fourth portion of the dough. YOU MUST ADD 1/4 CUP SUGAR, 3 EGGS, 1/2 CUP OIL and 2 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Grease a loaf pan. Bake in the oven at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.

Remember:

YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO MAKE THIS HEMIN BREAD ONCE IN YOUR LIFETIME.

We are on our 4th day and we plan to bake our bread soon. We'll let you know how our Hemin bread tastes like. Let me know if you have also tried this hemin bread already even though it is fake :) It is interesting to know where this Hemin Bread chain originated.

Overflowing with opportunities

Does it seem to you that all the best opportunities have already been claimed? Actually, nothing could be further from the truth.

There are more valuable opportunities available to you today than there have ever been before. And they grow more numerous with each passing moment.

Each opportunity that is followed and fulfilled gives birth to even more opportunities. Not only are the best opportunities not running out, they are indeed growing in number and value.

Opportunities arise from disappointment as well as from success. As knowledge and wisdom and experience grow, so too do opportunities grow.

Great challenges bring about great opportunities. Each breakthrough sets the stage for even greater breakthroughs, leaving a trail of opportunities in their wake.

Life is truly overflowing with opportunities of all different kinds that apply to every aspect of life. Open up to the very best opportunities, and joyfully work to reap the value that can be yours.

Back in March of this year, we go through PA (Performance Appraisal) and I got a score of O (Outstanding). This PA will be use in determining my pay increase for the year and usually the pay out is every 15th of May, moreover, since today is May 15, upon checking with my payroll account I got an increase of XXXX. Yippee!!! This pay increase will really go along way especially now that we are experiencing high prices in all basic commodities not to mention the fuel and other expenses such as tuition fees. To Atty. F and SOL thank you so much!

Get Paid for Blogging

Who would say that blogging is a waste of time? I bet to disagree. Two years ago, upon searching the net I came across with blogspot. I saw a lot of people doing blog about their own experiences, views and opinions and their simple way of life. In a way, I became interested and manage to have an account. At first, I only post something about my day to day life, my discoveries and other challenges in life. I don’t even have a list of bloggers that I can be friends with. Literally, I just post and post. Just this year somebody visited my blog and exchange link with me and I must say that this opens doors to a wider depth of blogging and learned about Pay Per Post.

PayPerPost (PPP) is a website which helps bloggers find advertisers willing to sponsor specific content. Advertisers are the one creating opportunities that describe the content they are looking for (e.g. feedback, reviews, buzz, creative, video). The bloggers, like me, then choose opportunities that interest us and get paid for blogging.

How to become a member? Just simply vist the PayPerPost site and signed up. You will have to submit your blog for review. At first, they may disapproved your blog like what happened to me. But after trying it the second time, I got approved. The moment they approved your blog you could already grab “opps” that interest you and get paid for blogging.

The money that I’ll be getting from PayPerPost will be use for our vacation. ( will let you know once I get paid )

New endorser

Our company celebrates its fifth year anniversary last March 29, and after that, two consecutive new endorsers came in. First was Maja Salvador and this week was Aga Muhlach. I’m proud to be one of the pioneer of this company. We’ve been through a lot of birth pains. But nevertheless, we have the mindset to win, because we believe in Better Network, Better Value.

Meaningful effort

Seek not to avoid all effort, for that would curse you with unbearable emptiness.

Seek instead to fill your life with meaningful efforts that resonate with your deepest purpose.

Your ability to make a difference is one of your greatest blessings. The more often you put that ability into practice, the more fulfilling your life will be.

You have your own special gifts to give to all of life. The intense longing within you is a longing to make a positive difference in your own unique way.

The universe in which you live is so wonderfully diverse and abundant that there are countless ways for you to create new value. You know each time you find one of those ways because it feels so right.

Don't settle for the meaningless trinkets that will soon rust and fade away. Build your life upon those efforts and resulting accomplishments that express the true beauty of who you are.

The time you invest in meaningful effort will produce rewards that continue to grow more valuable. And you'll fill your life with a richness that can never be taken away.

Enter a new Frontier of horror.

Xavier Gens is the writer and director of much talked about horror film the ‘FRONTIER(s)’. The film was finished way back 2007 but can’t get solid release in the States because of the violence, because a film like this could change everything. A lot of people are waiting to see this terrifying movie after all the reviews and commentaries received by this film.

I’m really not funned of horror movies but this one caught my attention and managed to have a glimpse of its trailer. Watching the trailer is something like riding a roller coaster, the thrill never ends. Definitely could rock the house. The film is all about a group of friends, who escaped a sadistic political rally and flee to Paris during muddled stage following the announcement of the election. They pull in the Luxembourg border and check-in a hotel being run by Neo-Nazi family.

The film is loaded with characters and diverse emotions. Seeing characters beaten with poles, tack and sledge hammers; characters being buried alive, while others being deface and served as a food. There is so much bloody scene on this film. But definitely worth to see, you’ll appreciate why it’s bad that this film can’t be released. But after a year 'Frontier(s)' is getting a limited theatrical release in the US on May 9th. It will be running for one week, but only in selected theaters, which is going to be followed up by the DVD releases on May 13th.

You can check out the official site here

So what are you waiting, grab a copy and be scared.

The Alphabet Tag

I got another Tag from Dez

Thank You Dez.

#1: Copy all the links below and replace a single link under the appropriate letter of the alphabet. If your domain name, or even the title of your blog, starts with an “A,” you’d replace the link under that letter and put the replaced link at the bottom. Also, don’t forget to credit the tagger, or where you got the list from, at the end of the list with a full URL of the post so that a pingback gets generated.

Z. zbudapest.com

Replaced link: ipentimento.com Previous tagger: My life is this Wonderful World!

#2: You now have to “tag” at least five people and encourage them to participate. Remember, though, that not everyone is into these kinds of things, so don’t be upset if they don’t participate. Just simply replace your tag. Remember to tag blogs only and no pornographic ones as we do want to keep the integrity as a blogging community.

I'm Tagging: Mari-Dee, Analyn, Florence, Petra and Rosemarie

Tuition Hike

What else you can think of that doesn’t have price increase? I just enrolled my two boys yesterday and tuitions fees really gone up. Enrolling our kids doesn’t stop their, we still need to get them uniforms, shoes, bags and school supplies. I remember when I was still in my elementary days. Tuition fees cost around 8k to 12k and books can be re-used since most of the activities are being answered in a separate sheet. Nowadays, books could not be re-used because they change the list of books every year, business as usual. wink! wink!

No matter how much we pay, how much we need to save just to send our kids in school, this is for their own future. Competition is so tight. And equipping them with best education can let them stand among the rest.

26. Forgive everyone for everything.
27. What other people think of you is none of your business.
28. GOD heals almost everything. 29. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
30. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
31. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
32. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
33. The best is yet to come.
34. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
35. Do the right thing!
36... Call/text your family often. (Or email them to death!!!) 37. Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: I am thankful for _____. Today I accomplished _____.
38. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.
39. Enjoy the ride. Remember this is not Disney World and you certainly don't want a fast pass. You only have one ride through life so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.
40. Please Forward this to everyone you care about.

May your troubles be less, May your blessings be more, May nothing but happiness come through your door!.

Thank you Atty. F for sharing this. Will truly miss you.....

Relax and enjoy

The world will wind you up into a tight little ball if you let it. Don't let it.

Relax and enjoy the ever-changing flow of being alive. There's no point in working yourself into a frenzy about anything.

The more uptight you are, the more mistakes you make. Relax, stop taking everything so seriously, and you'll find that you're vastly more effective.

Put a big, authentic and friendly smile on your face. Put some delightful positive thoughts in your mind.

The worst that could happen will almost certainly not happen. And even if it does, you'll find a way to handle it.

Live with passion and purpose while letting go of the tension and anxiety. Relax and enjoy every moment as it comes, and you'll be giving the world your very best.

A Thanksgiving

Ate Cherry is hosting a luncheon party for her two children who graduated from elementary and high school. Actually this is a post celebration in time for Ate Tess vacation (SIL of Ate Cherry). As always I’ll be preparing some table centerpiece with matching Mallows Lollipops and a welcome banner for Ate Tess. Most of their invites are the relatives from the Del Valle – Estolatan clan.

She's Back

Just now, Yaya S is back. Thank GOD. To my surprise she has lots of pasalubong like banana chips, some medicinal plants, crabs and mangoes. I told her that never to have pasalubong but her parents insisted. I’m so lucky with Yaya S, though she’s not the perfect one, she always try her best in learning new things and she’d always wear her cute smile.

A Prayer for Workers

O glorious Joseph! Who concealed your incomparable and regal dignity of custodian of Jesus and of the Virgin Mary under the humble appearance of a craftsman and provided for them with your work, protect with loving power your sons, especially entrusted to you.

You know their anxieties and sufferings, because you yourself experienced them at the side of Jesus and of His Mother. Do not allow them, oppressed by so many worries, to forget the purpose for which they were created by God. Do not allow the seeds of distrust to take hold of their immortal souls. Remind all the workers that in the fields, in factories, in mines, and in scientific laboratories, they are not working, rejoicing, or suffering alone, but at their side is Jesus, with Mary, His Mother and ours, to sustain them, to dry the sweat of their brow, giving value to their toil. Teach them to turn work into a very high instrument of sanctification as you did. Amen.
